93009: William Gunn

William (1865-1934) was the son of John Gunn and Mary Maciver; it is not certain where he was born, or even where he lived, as all that is known is that his parents were cottars: initially at 41 North Tolsta and then later at 43 North Tolsta, but there are no dates for these moves.

William married Mary Murray, of 52 North Tolsta, it is not clear where the couple spent their early marriage or where their four children were born.

By 1917, at the latest, William had inherited 70 North Tolsta from his Uncle Donald and Aunt Christina.

In due course 70 North Tolsta passed to his son, John.
