Margaret Stewart (born 1850) was from 15 Laxdale.

Margaret married Roderick Murray, of 40 North Tolsta, and the couple settled in Goathill Road, Stornoway, where they had their first three children.

In 1891, upon the death of his brother, Roderick inherited 40 North Tolsta. The family settled there and had their final child.

In total the couple had four children: three boys and a girl.

In due course 40 North Tolsta passed to their youngest son: John.
