92789: Anne Maciver
Anne (1910-1973) was the daughter of Kenneth Maciver and Annie Macdonald, of 38 North Tolsta.
Anne became a Queen’s Nurse and worked in Tolsta after Nurse Maciver.
After six years of service in Tolsta Anne married Charles Beck, of Inverness, and settled with him in Inverness. On the 29th of August 1942, to mark her departure, The Tolsta Nursing Comittee presented her with gifts, a wallet complete with currency and a canteen of cutlery; this was reported in the Stornoway District News.
They had one son.
