Katag Macleod
Katag Macleod
Katag (born 1902) was the daughter of Mary Ann Macleod; the family lived with her grandparents who were cottars at 34 North Tolsta.
Katag's mother married widower Alexander Maciver, of 14 North Tolsta. Alexander had a son and daughter from his first marriage that were of a similar age to Katag. It is not clear if Katag settled at 14 North Tolsta with her mother or if she stayed with her grandparents at 34 North Tolsta, or indeed if she had left home by the time this marriage occurred; the marriage gave her three half siblings, the first of whom was born in 1919.
Katag married George Morrison, of 46 North Tolsta, and the couple settled in Kinlochleven.
