Mary (1846-1922) was a daughter of Norman Matheson and Margaret Mackay, 16 Old Gravir.
The family moved to 39 Gravir in 1852.
In Lochs, in 1865, she married Donald Macleod, 9 Cromore. Mary and Donald settled at 1 Kershader and they had seven children.
Donald and Mary swapped crofts with John Macinnes, 19a Cromore.
Mary was widowed in 1883 and the family moved Buaile na h -Eaglaise, 54 Crossbost. In 1891 Mary's mother was living with the family.
