92566: Murdo Murray
Murdo (1884-1939) was the son of John Murray and Margaret Maciver of 45 North Tolsta.
Murdo married Catherine Macleod of 34 North Tolsta and the couple had four children together at an address which is not known. Catherine died in 1919.
Murdo served in the Royal Navy during World War One.
Murdo’s second marriage was to Isabella MacIver of 33 North Tolsta. In 1922 the couple had their first child together and the family moved to 8 New Tolsta, but the sequence of these events is not clear. In total they had six children together.
In due course 8 New Tolsta passed to his eldest son: John.
