92081: Christina Smith

Christina Smith (born 1883) was the daughter of John Smith and Elizabeth Macleod, of 24 North Tolsta.

Christina married Murdo Graham, of 41 Back, and the couple settled at 24 North Tolsta. They had three children: two girls and a boy.

Christina was widowed in October 1914. Their last child was born four months after Murdo’s death.

Christina and her children moved to 84 School Road, in 1922, after the previous occupant left for a newly lotted croft in Gress.

In 1942 Christina’s son Murdo was killed in the war.

In due course the house was sold to Murdo Maclean.
