91821: Donald Maciver
Donald (1874-1939) was the son of Angus Maciver and Mary Campbell; the family were cottars at 33 North Tolsta.
Donald married Margaret Macleod, of 20 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 82 School Road, North Tolsta. They had seven children: three boys and four girls. Their first child was born in 1901 and their last in 1913.
During the First World War Donald served with the Royal Navy Reserves.
In 1922 the family obtained 18 Gress as a newly lotted croft. 82 School Road, North Tolsta passed to Donald’s youngest brother-in-law: Angus Macleod.
In due course 18 Gress passed to their youngest daughter: Mary.
