91624: Ann Morrison

Ann Morrison (1800-1831) of Galson married John Mackay and settled with him in Galson. The couple had their first three children at an address which is not known, probably in Galson or Old South Tolsta Tack. They are not listed as living in Old South Tolsta Tack as early as 1820, but as their first child was not born until 1825 it is possible they moved there after they married. 

The family obtained 16 Old North Tolsta in the 1830 croft lottings.

Ann had her last child at 16 Old North Tolsta in 1831 and died the same year.

Ann’s widower went on to marry Jessie Smith and settled at 16 North Tolsta in 1853.
