91449: Margaret Macleod

Margaret (1825-1857) was the daughter of Torquil Macleod and Anne Maciver of Old South Tolsta Tack.

In 1830, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 24 Old South Tolsta.

In 1851, during the croft relottings, her parents obtained 13 North Tolsta, but it is not known if Margaret was married by this time.

Margaret married John Macdonald, of 24 Old North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 12 North Tolsta, which John obtained in 1853. The couple had no children.

After Margaret’s death her widower went on to marry a further two times.
