Murdo (1875-1945) was the son of Murdo Maciver and Christina Smith of 18 North Tolsta.
Murdo married Catherine Macleod, of 6 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 18 North Tolsta which passed to Murdo. They had eight children: three girls and five boys.
In due course 18 North Tolsta passed to their son Murdo.
