91069: Mary Macleod
Mary Macleod (born 1813) of Gress Tack married John Murray of Old Glen Tolsta.
The couple settled at 1 Old Glen Tolsta, where John was a boundary shepherd, and had their first child. However in 1842 Old Glen Tolsta was cleared and the family obtained 29b Old South Tolsta.
Whilst at 29b Old South Tolsta the couple had a further two children. In the 1851 croft relottings the family obtained 6 North Tolsta and they had a fourth child there.
In 1853 the family emigrated to Huron Township, Bruce County, Ontario, Canada. In total the couple had six children: two girls and four boys.
