Evander (1910-2004) was a son of Lewis Macleod and Isabella Macinnes, 37 Gravir.
He served with the Merchant Navy during the Second World War. His name is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.
At Hillhead, Glasgow, in 1947 he married Ann Macinnes, 36 Gravir. Evander and Ann settled at 37 Gravir and they had three children. The croft at 36 Gravir was passed to Evander. The family later moved to Newmarket.
Evander was widowed in 2002.
