882: John Morrison
John (1835-1909) was a son of Alexander Morrison and Catherine Gillies, 12 Old Orinsay.
Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family moved to 22 Leurbost.
In Uig, in 1859 he married Henrietta Smith, 1 Earshader. John and Henrietta settled at 22 Leurbost and they had six children.
