Donald (born 1881) was a son of Donald Maclean and Margaret Finlayson, 33 Gravir.
He emigrated to Canada and served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the First World War. Donald was taken as a prisoner of war in 1918 and was awarded the Military Medal. His name is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
Donald was a bachelor and may have returned to Lewis and moved to Sutherland.
