77643: Effie MacKillop
Effie was born in about 1853, the daughter of Norman MacKillop and Catherine MacCusbic of old Borve, though when Effie was still a baby the family were removed and became cottars at Lamerick.
Effie remained unmarried, moving to Backhill after her parents’ death, becoming a servant and later a wool spinner. She died of bronchitis in 1906.
