77625: John MacKillop
John was born in about 1839, the eldest child of Norman MacKillop and Catherine MacCusbic of old Borve. In 1854 the family were removed from Borve to become cottars at Lamerick.
John married Catherine MacKenzie from Bower, making their home in Olrig, Caithness. His younger sister Catherine also moved to Olrig.
