77580: Mary MacLennan

Mary MacLeod (also MacLennan) was born in 1861, the daughter of Marion MacLeod of Quay. In 1885 she married Kenneth Shaw from 11 Obbe, the marriage taking place in Glasgow. It appears that she stayed with her mother in Quay, since that is where her four children were born, and from where her two older daughters started school. Her husband Kenneth, a sailor, based himself both in Glasgow and at Quay. They returned to Glasgow in 1902, following her mother’s death.
