Ann MacAskill
Ann, more usually Annie, was born in 1879, the eldest child of John MacAskill and Marion MacMillan of 'house 2' Rubha Mor, then Quay. Following her father's death in 1899 the family moved to 'house 6' Rubha Mor. She became a domestic servant, marrying Alexander MacLean of Vallay in 1907. Together they were to have eight children, moving to North Uist, Skye and then the Bridge of Allan.
