Murchadh Dhòmhnaill Iain

Murdo Macqueen (1821-1883) was the son of Donald MacQueen and Ann MacKillop of Quay, Berneray. His father died when Murdo was still a boy. By 1841 he was apprenticed as a tailor to his uncle, Angus MacKillop and he moved to Stornoway with his uncle.

In Lochs, in 1853, he married Mary Macleod, 22 Marvig. The couple settled in Stornoway.
