Ann was born in 1878, the daughter of John MacLeod and Rachel Paterson of Quay. She became a domestic servant, registered as a visitor to her aunt Marion MacLeod in 1891. Ann’s son was born in 1900. She later married Donald John MacLennan from 1 Finsbay. They made their home in Glasgow.
