Rachel Paterson
Rachel was born in 1844, the daughter of John Paterson and Mary MacLeod of 328 Boisdale, South Uist. In 1867 she married John MacLeod of Quay, Berneray, which is where they made their home with their seven children. Rachel was widowed in 1893, subsequently working as a wool spinner.
