Fanny MacLean
Fanny was born in 1879, the daughter of schoolmaster and catechist Donald John MacLean and his wife Helen Wood, of Rubha Mor. By 1911 she was working as assistant schoolteacher at Berneray School. She married sea captain Donald Ewen MacKillop and they made their home in Obbe, later renamed Leverburgh.
