Donald MacKillop
Donald, born in 1869, was the eldest child of Neil MacKillop and Marion MacLeod of Quay, later 11 Borve. He became a fisherman like his father, and was owner of the Lion, nicknamed Feadag by the locals. The rock Clach Dhòmhnaill Nèill was named for him.
Donald married Catherine MacKillop of 12 Borve in 1905. They lived at 11 Borve with their son Donald Alexander.
Following the death of Catherine, Donald married again, on 19th June 1923. His second wife was Peggy Ann MacLeod, who preferred to be known as Maggie, of Pol an Oir. Together they had two sons, although Donald was to pass away before the birth of the youngest.
