Margaret was born in about 1823, the youngest child of Malcolm MacLeod and Mary MacIntyre. Born in old Borve, she relocated to 304 Kilpheder with her parents during the 1820s. She returned to Berneray with her husband Lachlan Munro of 20 Ruisgarry (Brusda). They had no children.
