75849: Margaret Morrison

Margaret Morrison, born in 1821, was the daughter of Rachel Morrison of old Ruisgarry. Margaret’s eldest child, Catherine, was born in 1840. In 1841 the two were registered living in the household of her 90 year old great uncle, Morris Morrison.

Margaret later married William MacKinnon. By 1856 Margaret was widowed, living in Ruisgarry. In 1861 she was a cottar at Quay with her daughter Mary and son William. She later moved to Kyles Paible with her daughter Catherine, then to Lochmaddy with daughter Rachel.
