75378: Donald MacPhee
Donald MacPhee, born 1782, was the son of John MacPhee. Donald married Christina MacRailt, with whom he had at least four children. Donald held a tenancy in Borve in 1818, paying £5 10s annual rent, moving to Ruisgarry by 1830, paying £5. Donald is shown as a farmer in the 1841 census. Included with the family is Malcolm MacPhee, possibly a son or other relative.
About 1845, with the reorganisation of the crofts in Ruisgarry, Donald and his wife moved to 8d Deiraclete instead. Donald is shown as a pauper, retired tenant, in the 1851 census.
