Margaret MacAskill was born in 1854, the youngest child of Kenneth MacAskill and Catherine MacLeod of 9 Ruisgarry (Gunhill), and later of 11/12 Ruisgarry (Quay). Margaret died of supposed typhus fever in 1864.
