73058: Kenneth Shaw
Kenneth Shaw was born in 1805, the son of John Shaw and Mary MacLeod of old Borve. He married Mary MacLeod from Ruisgarry and they settled for a while in Borve before obtaining a croft in Borgh Mhor, Harris. In 1853 they returned to Berneray where they became cottars on 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill). In 1864 he obtained 13 Ruisgarry (Sunhill).
Kenneth and his wife Mary had a family of seven children.
On Kenneth’s death, Sunhill croft was passed to son Donald.
