Peggy MacAskill’s first husband was Malcolm MacDonald, with whom she had a son, Alexander Murdo. They lived on croft 6 Malaclete, North Uist.

Following Malcolm’s death she married Robert MacAskill from Ruisgarry. The couple settled in Bornish, South Uist.
