72500: Catherine MacLennan
Catherine was born in 1777, the daughter of John MacLennan and Mary Bethune. She married Kenneth MacKinnon from Seilebost, and they made their home in Ruisgarry, with their six children. By 1851 they had been removed from the croft and were living as cottars at Baile. Following her husband’s death in 1856, Catherine lived as a pauper. She died of supposed consumption in 1867.
