Angus (c1888-1919) was a son of John Macdonald and Ann Macleod, 6 Crowlista. He was brought up mostly by his aunt and uncle on 13 Crowlista. He served in the Royal Naval Reserve during the First World War and took part in the Battle of the Falkland Islands. He lost his life in the Iolaire disaster.
