Mary Ann Munro was born in 1868, the daughter of Malcolm Munro and Mary Campbell of 19 Ruisgarry (Brusda).
She married crofter Archie MacIsaac from 1 Kyles Paible, with whom she had eight children. Following her death in 1906, the children stayed with their aunts and uncles on Berneray.
