71289: Neil Maciver

Neil was a son of Neil and Ann nee Macaulay who relocated from Pabbay to Reef. He was married and had at least two sons, John (married with issue, 5 sons and 6 daughters – one of his sons was Captain Henry Maciver, another son Malcolm was father of Dr J A Maciver) and Malcolm (married twice; 1st Bella Macdonald, 2nd Catherine Macaulay; with issue from both mariages).

The family emigrated to Cape Breton in 1823 and Neil and his eldest son, John, were the first settlers at C Point, South Cove (Little Narrows).
