70704: Callum Dan MacLeod

Callum Dan, born in 1913, was the son of Allan MacLeod and Christina MacKinnon. His childhood was spent at 9 Borve; the family later moved to the old Manse at croft 6a Ruisgarry, which his father purchased in the mid 1930s.

Callum Dan attended Berneray School between 1920 and 1928, before leaving for Kingussie Higher Grade School.

He is believed to have died during World War 2, and is buried in Palestine.
