70627: Nellie Evelyn Grant

Nellie Grant was the second daughter of Reverend Alexander Grant and his wife Christina Miller. Born in 1895, she lived at Trumisgarry Manse until 1904, when her father became minister on the island of Berneray. Nellie started attending Berneray School, leaving to attend Cathcart Higher Grade School in Glasgow. She was readmitted to Berneray School in 1906, finally leaving in Sept 1907.

The family relocated to Heylipol, Tiree in 1913.
