69952: Mary MacLeod

Mary MacLeod, born 1848, from 5 Kyles Scalpay, married Donald MacKillop from Berneray. They became cottars on his father’s croft, 5 Ruisgarry (Beasdaire) before emigrating to the Framboise area of Cape Breton. Their nine children were presumably born in Cape Breton – Angus (1870), Marion (1872), Donald (1874), Murdo (1876), Sarah Kate (1880), Kirsty (1883), Effie (1885), Angus (1888) and Kate A (1890).
