Marion MacLeod
Marion MacLeod
Marion, born about 1814, was the daughter of Donald MacLeod and Catherine MacLeod of old Borve. She married Donald MacKillop and they lived in old Ruisgarry, moving to 5 Ruisgarry which Donald was allotted in 1850.
Together they had ten children. When Donald and Marion emigrated to Fergusons' Lake, Cape Breton (probably in late 1871 following the birth of grandson Donald, son of Roderick), most of their surviving children also emigrated. Only daughter Catherine and son Alexander remained on Berneray.
