69014: Peter MacAskill
Peter MacAskill was born in old Ruisgarry in about 1845, before moving to the croft at 4 Ruisgarry (Tarraloch), which his father Neil MacAskill obtained in 1850. Following his father’s death in 1873, the croft was divided and part 4b passed to Peter.
Peter married Lexy Ferguson in 1869, and they had nine children together. Following his death the croft passed to their son Kenneth.
