68960: Ann MacAskill
Ann MacAskill was born in old Borve in about 1831, before moving to old Ruisgarry with her parents. In 1850 her father Neil MacAskill was lotted the croft at 4 Ruisgarry (Tarraloch). She married John MacLeod, living at first at 18 Brusda, and later at Quay. John and Ann had four children together before her death in childbed in 1874.
