66203: Catherine Mackenzie

Catherine (born c1822) was a daughter of William Mackenzie and Mary Maclean of Valtos. The family relocated to Reef. In 1847, Catherine married John Maclean, from Reef, and their daughter Margaret was born in Uig in 1850. 

By 1851, the family had moved to Mid Borve as had her parents who obtained 8 High Borve that year. Once settled in Borve they had a further four children: Henrietta born c1852 Barvas, William born c1855 Barvas, John born c1857 Barvas and Malcolm born c1860 Barvas.
