65856: William Mackenzie

William was married to Mary Maclean and lived in Valtos where they had their first five children. This family was recorded in Valtos on the Chapman list of 1819 and the Uig Farm tenant list of 1824. They relocated to Reef and had their final child. They were later evicted from Reef.

By 1851, the family had obtained 8 High Borve. In due course this passed to his youngest son, John.
