65740: Murdo Mackay

Murdo was born c1791 and was married to Flora Macarthur.

Murdo and Flora lived in Uigen, where two of their children, John and Angus, were registered for baptism. They latterly lived in Reef, where they raised four children.

When Reef was cleared in the late 1840s, they relocated to Brue, where they were enumerated in the census of 1851. However, they didn’t remain there and it is not known where they subsequently settled.
