Donald born c1798 was married to Mary nee Maclean and lived in Reef where they raised seven children. We do not know where they settled after Reef was cleared in the late 1840s.

Donald is recorded on the 1824 Reef Farm tenant list as owner of three head of cattle and four sheep; beside his name is written in place of Donald Mackay now at Skaliscro
