65323: Mary Macaulay

Mary ( c1777-1855) from Crowlista was married to Donald Macaulay, 2 Old Islivig and they relocated to 6 Islivig. They had seven children, three of whom died young – Malcolm (1797-1803); John (1805- died in infancy) and Angus (1806-1809). 

In 1841, Mary was enumerated with her son Donald but by 1851 Donald is living in a separate house with wife Catherine and Mary, by now head of household, is living with son Murdo born c1819, son Norman born c1821 and two grandchildren, Malcolm born c1837 and John born c1844.
