Catherine (1807-1898) was a daughter of Donald Macleod and Mary Mackay, 11 Mealista.
On the 2nd of Fenruary 1830 Catherine married Norman Mackay, 13 Mealista, where they lived before relocating to 28 Old Brenish in 1837, when Mealista was cleared. They had four children.
They relocated to 13 Brenish when the village was relotted in 1849.
