Donald (born 1895) was the younger son of the same name of Malcolm Macritchie and Mary Macdonald, 8 Kneep and later 5 Reef. Donald served in the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR) during the First World War and a record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour: Uig, World War One.

Donald was married in Hull.
