Angus, born 1819, was a son of William and Mary nee Macritchie from Kneep. He emigrated to Quebec c1847 and finally settled in Marston; was married to Margaret nee Macleod, an emigrant from South Dell. They had issue:

Ann 19th March 1850 -1935 (married to Duncan Lewis Macleod; with issue)

Isabella 4th June 1852 - 8th Aug 1939 (married to Malcolm Macleod; with issue)

William 15th Apr 1857 - 29th Nov 1935 (married to Mary Alexander; with issue)

Angus 1858 - 1895 (married to Margaret Longmoore; no issue)

Janet Feb 1862 - 1938 (married to Issac S MacCurdy; with issue)

John 6th July 1864 - 1942 (married to Catherine Nicolson)

Louise 11th Oct 1865 - 21st Feb 1959 (married to Thomas J Longmoore; with issue)

Ida - died in infancy
