64563: Farquhar Macdonald

Farquhar, born c1806 was a son of Murdo and Margaret nee Macritchie, Crowlista. He was married to Christina nee Macdonald, Kneep and stayed in Crowlista until they emigrated to Lingwick, Quebec in 1841. Three of their children were born in Crowlista before they left; Angus 1833-1919 (married to Catherine nee Mackay; with issue), Betty – also known as Bess and Rebecca 1837-1919 (married to John Morrison) and Catherine 1839-1941(married to Angus Maciver from Crowlista).

In Quebec they had issue;

Mary 1842-1920 (married to John Macleod ; son of Donald and Rachael Macleod)

Murdo 1844-1902 (married to Henrietta nee Maclean; with issue)

Flora 1847 (married to William Wilson)

William 1849 (married twice; 1st Jane Cowan and later Ann Maclennan)

Malcolm 1852 (married to Chirsty Maclean).
