Donald (born 1895) was a son of Donald Macdonald and Margaret Kemp, 2 Caverstay. 

On January 12, 1918 he enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve, Service Number DA19546, and was immediately Mobilised. Donald served in the Royal Navy in the final year of the First World War. His record indicated that he was 5ft 7in tall with grey eyes and a pale complexion. Based at HMS Iolaire and aboard HMS Nairn, HMS Thalia and HMS Ambitious. Donald received £3.6.8d in Prize Money and his name is mentioned in  Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour1914-1918. 

He was a bachelor.
